Lynne earned her Master’s of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. Lynne has twenty-eight years experience in working with children and adults with speech-language and swallowing impairments. She has provided services in variety of settings including: Baylor Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas, TX; Newport Speech and Language, Laguna Hills, CA; St. Joseph’s Hospital, Orange, CA; Mission Hospital, Mission Viejo, CA; Providence Speech and Hearing Center, Orange, CA; Irvine Medical Center, Irvine, CA; and Seton Hospital, Austin, TX. In addition, Lynne has many certifications and special trainings including the following: Vital Stim certification in both pediatric and adult dysphagia, SOS approach to feeding, Kaufman speech to language protocol for Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Linda-mood Bell programs, and Talk Tools oral motor approaches to speech and swallowing. Being the parent of a child with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder and multiple medical problems, Lynne actively researches the latest treatment options available for her daughter as well as her patients. Lynne enjoys time with her family, rescuing and raising animals and being active outdoors.
