Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida(UCF). She has experience working as a DIR Floortime therapist with patient’s from early intervention through adolescents within the in-home setting. She is also currently a volunteer Speech-Assistant for B.R.A.I.N. She assists in the therapy for adults with strokes as well as Traumatic Brain Injury. During her undergraduate career she was a member of the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association at UCF. She had the opportunity to volunteer in the Cochlear Implant Wing of the Speech clinic at UCF. She utilized her American Sign-Language skills to assist in interpreting for patients and their families. Sarah enjoys working with all ages. She believes in looking at each patient and providing them with the tools they need to independently communicate. She loves to read during her spare time, and go to the beach for a relaxing day.
